App of the week 11/24 - CSU Chico WREC Gym
This CSU Chico WREC gym app is this weeks app of the week and for good reason. They have almost 500 downloads and is a daily marketing tool used by the schools gym.

The app has their entire excise class schedule uploaded into the app so students can view what classes they want to attend on the go. Many students live busy life and having their gyms excise class schedule uploaded into an app definitely makes it easier. In addition, the WREC gym regularly sends out push notifications to students informing them on canceled classes or holiday hours.

I asked the WREC gym what their main source of marketing for the app had been and without a doubt it had been FaceBook. They found large success from exposing the app on their FaceBook fan page which directly lead to hundreds of downloads.
